APPROACHES TO WRITER DEVELOPMENT: THE EUROPEAN MODEL

Script, in association with Pentabus Theatre Company, have teamed up with Druid and Fishamble Theatre Companies (Ireland), and Riksteatern (Sweden) to send professional playwrights on 2-week work placements to learn from our European counterparts and exchange best practice in the field of writer development.

Script has successfully applied for funding from the EU Leonardo da Vinci Mobility Scheme, part of the Lifelong Learning Programme designed to foster the development of those involved in vocational education and training.

The placements will take place in July (Druid), October (Fishamble) and November (Riksteatern). The selection process for participants is currently underway - further details to follow.
